New Senior Tax Manager

Mike Ronse, CPA, CGA

The partners of EPR Maple Ridge Langley Chartered Professional Accountants are pleased to announce that Mike Ronse, CPA, CGA has joined the firm as Senior Tax Manager.

Mike’s expertise is in tax planning for owner-managed businesses, private companies and high-net worth individuals.

Over the years, Mike has worked with private companies of all shapes and sizes, and in various stages of their business life cycles, helping them realize tax savings in the context of buying and selling businesses, corporate restructuring/reorganizations, business structuring and estate and succession planning.

Mike serves clients in a wide range of industries including agriculture, manufacturing, property development/real estate, and professional services.

Mike originally joined EPR Maple Ridge Langley in 2008 and obtained his CPA, CGA designation in 2010 while working in the Langley office. From 2012 to 2017, Mike worked with a global accounting firm, subsequently completing the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and being promoted to Senior Manager in Taxation Services. After working with one of the “big four” accounting firms Mike rejoined EPR Maple Ridge Langley in 2018.

Mike is a proud husband and father who enjoys spending time with his family. When not working or enjoying family time, you can find Mike golfing, mountain biking or playing hockey.

Position Filled

Entry Level Bookkeeper

Established professional services firm in Maple Ridge has a full time position in our bookkeeping division for an entry level bookkeeper.

Training will be provided to enable the candidate to provide bookkeeping for a variety of clients, including:

  • Posting of accounts payable and receivable
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparation and filing of GST and PST returns
  • Payroll

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong aptitude for bookkeeping plus basic bookkeeping skills
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software an asset
  • Experience with data entry of payables and receivables preferred
  • Exceptional  written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner.
